MAKE HOLOCAUST AND GENOCIDE EDUCATION MANDATORY IN ONTARIO SCHOOLS
PETITION TO THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF ONTARIO
WHEREAS there has been an alarming increase of antisemitism impacting Ontario schools, synagogues, and communities.
WHEREAS Jewish Ontarians have a right to live and worship in their communities safely and without fear.
WHEREAS Jewish community members have called for Holocaust and genocide education to be made mandatory in school curriculum in order for students, staff, and families to be made aware as to how to actively combat antisemitism in their schools and communities.
THEREFORE we the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to make Holocaust and genocide education mandatory across Ontario schools.
