Let’s dare to dream

We should never, never be afraid or ashamed of our dreams – Tommy Douglas

It’s time to let your imagination soar: what kind of world do you want when we emerge from the pandemic?

A world where everybody has a home? Where everybody gets a fair shot at a good education and a stable job? Where we’re actually tackling climate change?

If Tommy Douglas taught us anything, it’s this: we should dare to dream.

He dreamed of universal health care. Realizing that dream wasn’t easy. The opposition was powerful and fierce.

But Tommy and his supporters didn’t give up. And because of them — everyday Canadians just like us — Canadian hospitals are no longer for the rich alone.

It’s time for us to dream more dreams.

COVID-19 has laid bare the terrible cracks through which so many fall. And it’s opened many, many minds to the idea that big change isn’t just desirable, it’s possible.

So let’s seize the opportunity. Let’s stand on Tommy’s shoulders, have courage, and make the world a better place.

As a riding association, we can help.

Tell us the the dream you’re most passionate about realizing, and we’ll help get you the tools you need to make it happen.
