Make Your Voice Heard: Bill 257

Dear Community,

Bill 257, The Supporting Broadband and Infrastructure Expansion Act, has moved through debate in the Legislature and has been scheduled for committee hearings before the Committee of General Government soon.

Bill 257 - is a Bill with three schedules. Two schedules speak to the expansion of Broadband, and Schedule 3 to the ability of this government to change laws to be allowed to harm provincially significant wetland, or other protected environmental areas. The government has a clear anti-environment agenda and is taking remarkable steps to ensure the Duffins Creek wetland will be paved to make way for development and a warehouse.

Please sign up to participate in the committee process if you would like to share your concerns or perspectives in person or in writing.

To appear before committeeclick here, or call the Committee Clerk, Isaiah Thorning, at 416-325-3526.

The deadline to request to appear is Wednesday, March 24th, 12pm.

99 Wellesley Street West

Room 1405, Whitney Block

Toronto, ON  M7A 1W3
